Physiotherapy uses evidence-based kinesiology, electrotherapy, exercise prescription, joint mobilization, and health education, treats conditions such as chronic or acute pain, soft tissue injuries, cartilage damage, arthritis, gait disorders, and physical impairments. Physical therapy is used to improve a patient's physical functions through physical examination, diagnosis, prognosis, physical intervention, rehabilitation, and patient education.


Massage Therapy

Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues in the body. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain.


Counselling / Psychology / Mental Health

Harman is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Here, he enjoyed the challenges brought up by the varying injuries and conditions he saw and made sure his experiences were well-diversified as, during his clinical internship at VCMT, he treated patients at a variety of locations from retirement homes and long term care homes such as Ronald McDonald house to Crossfit gyms and student-athletes at SFU. He spent extensive time questioning instructors and performing techniques of all abilities. He brings a focused approach to his treatments and believes communication plays an imperative role in treatment success. He looks forward to creating a tailored plan that is best suited to his client’s needs.

Harman is often found testing his knowledge even outside the workplace. He is deeply passionate about technology and is not intimidated to pick up an old computer and configure it to make it almost as good as new. His passions stem to automobiles as well, as he enjoys driving and researching sports cars. During his leisure time, he can be found at the gym or hanging out with family and friends.

Jonathan Heilbrunn is a Registered Physiotherapist and graduate of the University of Western Ontario.

  • 20+ years experience in a variety of clinical settings treating both acute and chronic injuries stemming from sports injuries, motor vehicular accidents, various musculoskeletal impairments, post-surgical conditions, as well as normal everyday aches and pains

Ishtpreet obtained her bachelor’s degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, India in 2015. She has worked in multiple out-patient clinics as well as a multi-specialty hospital in India. Through these experiences she has gained a special interest in orthopedic and sports injuries.

Her treatment approach includes manual therapy, exercises, patient education and prevention strategies to increase mobility, strength and function. She also focuses on postural education and work ergonomics to avoid injuries before they happen.
